Our client’s vision for this bathroom started with a striking black antique mirror that set the tone for the entire space. We worked diligently to select materials that would complement this piece, including custom Italian embossed wallpaper that added texture and depth. To enhance the luxurious feel, we chose brass fixtures to bring warmth to the dramatic design. The black stone countertop ties in seamlessly with the walls, creating a cohesive and sophisticated look. Subtle contrasts, like matte finishes against polished surfaces, were key to achieving balance. The result is a refined, bold bathroom that elevates the client’s antique centerpiece and unique vision.

Challenges

“The client came to us wanting to remodel their existing bathroom around the custom vanity and mirror they had previously installed. This gave us a colour palette to design around while still giving us inspiration to create a modern space. One of the key features that the client wanted was to incorporate wall paper to give more texture to the walls. We sourced this 3D embossed textured wallpaper from Italy and it truly brought the space to life.”

Lincoln Ontario Waterfront

Our client required a complete update of the front and backyard, including their waterfront seating area. Backing onto a vineyard, we ensured there would be a spectacular view from the pool area. With a pool house and outdoor kitchen, there is ample room to entertain family and guests throughout the year. The property is surrounded by lush gardens and trees, including an ornamental deer family sculpture garden. 

The homes entryway was remodeled, adding a spacous and dedicated parking area, and updated front door that is framed by gardens and a custom stone stairway. Across the street is a sunken lakeside firepit and lake access, with oversized flagstone and a natural stone retaining wall, creating a private seating area that is protected from the lake winds.
